Anton is an ant Badnik that travels around on one wheel. Despite being a Miracle Planet Badnik that originates from Sonic the Hedgehog CD, Anton made its first appearance in Issue 12's Hidden Danger!, embarking on a mission to invade the Hidden Zone. The robot made a larger impact in Sonic's World 4-parter The Seven Badniks as one of the Palmtree Panic Zone Badniks taken to the Green Hill Zone. This version of Anton looked much like a Moto Bug with very few differences (although artist Mike Hadley originally drew Moto Bugs very differently).
Norris Wimple revealed in the Issue 253 edition of Encyclopedia Badnika that Anton was powered by flowers, although only as a temporary measure.
