Fog Warning is a complete Tails story that first appeared in Issue 127 of Sonic the Comic. It was later reprinted in Issue 219.

Story[]
As usual, Tails is having to fight off a group of Badniks. Fortunately, this time he is aided by old friend Johnny Lightfoot, who has turned up for Easter (he is a "bunny" after all). In all seriousness, Johnny has come to ask for Tails' help, since something in bad is happening in the Sun Valley Zone. The pair grab Tails' Bi-plane and head to the trouble spot, which has been swamped by unnatural fog. Because the mist is so thick, Tails fails to spot an oncoming mountain and crashes, causing Johnny to bail out with a parachute. Tails makes a crash-landing and can't find his friend. Instead, the fox is faced with the hooded Agent X, who tries to kill Tails with his gun. Even the fog can't stop the agent, so Tails clears it away with a whirl of his tails. With the weather gone, Tails learns that Windy Wallis and her new machine is to blame. Wallis tries to electrocute Tails, but he dodges and grabs Johnny's staff, using it to destroy the machine.
As the fog clears, Johnny returns in time to see Agent X and Wallis escape in a ship and the heroes are left with no idea who the mysterious villain is.
Trivia[]
- There was no indication that Johnny's had fallen from him.
- Johnny shouldn't have been able to see Agent X in the thick fog. Tails did not cotton on to the fact that Johnny is Agent X.
