High in the Sky is a complete Amy & Tekno story that first appeared in Issue 117. It was later reprinted in Issue 215.

Story[]
Norris Wimple is looking for UFOs with his binoclars when he seems to really spot something and takes a picture of him. Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary watch him on the news later, where Wimple tells the reporter that he hasn't actually had the film processed yet. The Doctor Robotnik Appreciation Tribe also see the broadcast and Grand Chief Whip believes that it could be one of Doctor Robotnik's new weapons. Not wishing to give Sonic the Hedgehog an advantage by seeing the finished photo, D.R.A.T. kidnap Wimple in a van. Amy and Tekno are close behind, but the villains drive them away with some explosive flying discs. Amy takes out some, but she hasn't got enough crossbow bolts for them all. Tekno grabs a net from a nearby shop and captures one of the discs. She then reprograms it and fires it back at the van. The tinkering makes the other discs follow it back to D.R.A.T. and the collision destroys the vehicle.
Later, Norris has developed his film but he isn't happy about the result. Wimple actually took a picture of Tails! Although he mutters about needing to change his glasses, a passing Tails is quite happy with the developments.
