Strips[]

Sonic the Hedgehog[]

Order & Chaos is a 3-part story written and coloured by Nigel Kitching, drawn by Richard Elson and lettered by Tom Frame. Grimer's invasion of the Emerald Chamber has gone well with assistance from the Drakon Empire but Sonic is still able to steal the Master Emerald from him. Sonic is momentarily impeded by the arrival of Tails and things look to be getting worse when something starts to teleport in...

Knuckles the Echidna[]

On The Run is a 4-part written by Kitching, drawn by Nigel Dobbyn and lettered by Elitta Fell. Porker Lewis has been arrested after confessing himself to be Oscar the Pig. He reveals to Lieutenant Furor about his sordid past under the employ of Hammerhead but is adamant that he fleed when he learned he was helping to make a nuclear bomb. Furor believes him and allows Porker, Knuckles and the Chaotix Crew to go free.

Amy & Tekno[]

The Lump is a complete story written by Lew Stringer, drawn by Carl Flint, coloured by John M Burns and lettered by Gordon Robson. Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary have come to the Timber Village Zone to tackle a rampaging monster. After using her Translator-Scan, Tekno reveals that the "monster" was trying to do some shopping and is forced to rescue his oppressors when the townsfolk chase him off a ravine. "Keanu" is later admitted as part of the Zone's population.

Double Sonic[]

Fan Friction is a complete story by Stringer, Mick McMahon and Ellie de Ville. Sonic has agreed to do an autograph signing, but doing it quickly sets the paper on fire. Collector Ryan Baggit tricks Sonic into trapping himself in a forcefield, but Norris Wimple tries to win his freedom with a trivia quiz. When he fails, Sonic tries a direct approach, forcing Baggit to cut out the shield's power.

Features[]

Megadroid points out that the theme of this issue's strips is captivity, with three of the four having the lead characters captured. The Control Zone goes on to introduce the rest of the stories and features inside and provides an address from which to claim Sonic merchandise from Sega. Megadroid returns in Speedlines, answering questions about computer books, Back Issues and the chance of Sonic and Doctor Robotnik enjoying a cup of tea together. Printed pictures and letters in this feature won the Boomers an Enamel Badge.

The theme of this week's Graphic Zone is "Chaotix Zone", with the Chaotix Crew and Nack the Weasel being the centre of attention (although Mighty the Armadillo is mistakenly named "Nack"). Artists that got their pictures in the issue won a Sonic the Hedgehog watch.
