Contents[]

Strips[]

Sonic the Hedgehog[]

The Fandom Menace is a complete story written by Chris G, drawn by Stiv, coloured by Stiv and Calisto and lettered by Charles Ellis. On this week's The Harold Hilltop Show, Harold Hilltop is mocking Sonic the Hedgehog as requested by Percival James Kane. Sonic takes offence and storms the studio, but has been beaten to it by Norris Wimple and M.A.S.H.. Against his will, Sonic is forced to save Hilltop from the mob, losing him fans in the process.

Sonic's World[]

Kill Big is a 2-part story by Jamie J and Mike Corker. Big the Cat has been treated to a meal by The Family to tempt him to join them. When the cat refuses, ninja grasshoppers are called in to deal with him. Herne soon joins the battle and Big is forced to concede, beginning his employment in Buddy's Bistro.

Ristar[]

Scandalous Footage is a complete story written by Jamie J, drawn by Stiv and lettered by Ellis. Budding rock star Siestar has caught friend Ristar singing along to the radio and plans to broadcast it to the whole of the Keschera Colony in exchange for fame. A wild chase leads to the parliament building but the gathered audience are overjoyed to see their world's hero partaking in some singing.

Features[]

This issue's Control Zone is a Bonfire Night special, with Megadroid waving his sparkler in anticipation. After introducing the stories, he apologises for the delay in completion of Vichama Is Coming Home. The Data Zone gives brief details of Sonic, Kane, Wimple, Big, Harvestman, Herne and Ristar. The "story so far" is that, "for years, the evil Doctor Robotnik ruled Planet Mobius. Eventually, Sonic and his Freedom Fighter gang defeated Robotnik and freed the planet. Now they fight to keep it safe from whatever might threaten it."

The three wallpapers up for download this issue are the cover (Jin Chan Yum Wai), a conflict between Knuckles the Echidna, Tikal and Vichama (Stiv) and a teaser for the Tekno & Shorty series (Corker). A special feature this month is Hume Quest, an article by Iain Stewart that details many Message Zone members' visit to see STC alumni in Birmningham. Over twenty Boomers and current Humes were present to see Nigel Kitching, Nigel Dobbyn and Richard Elson.

Stewart returned in time to present the Review Zone. Sonic Rush Adventure was the game in question, with Stewart awarding it 82%. He praised the varied gameplay and bosses, but was disappointed in areas of repetition.
