Maniaxe is one of Casey's transformations in the Kid Chameleon story, Back to Unreality!. Absolutely insane and full of rage and aggression, Maniaxe fights his enemies with a mighty axe and will eliminate anyone in his path. Because of this, he would have killed Brad before he reached the telepad, even though Casey was only in Wildside to save him. Maniaxe does have some sort of moral compass however, freeing the prisoners of Islecatraz with his axe (although he was a prisoner too, the other children may have just been a bonus).
Casey transformed directly into Maniaxe while chained up in a cell. He would then change directly into Cyclone after plummeting towards the ocean.
