R.B.R., subtitled Ruled By Robotnik, is a complete Sonic the Hedgehog story which appeared in Issue 227 of Sonic the Comic Online.

Story[]
One night, in Tower Village in the Hill Top Zone, two Mobians are hiding, to no success, from a number of Troopers, who threaten them with becoming organic batteries for Dr Robotnik. This is the third Trooper attack in a week, and the following evening, Sonic and Tails are investigating, skeptical that the village is still ruled by Robotnik, but their attention is diverted by a ranting old woman claiming that local witch, Agiatha Witchbrew, is behind it. The heroes investigate Witchbrew's tower and are met by a young girl: Witchbrew's granddaughter, Violet. Violet claims that she was staying there for the school holidays when her grandmother disappeared, but conjures ropes out of nowhere to tie the heroes up when Tails asks for help. Without warning, they are interrupted by Commander Brutus, flanked by two Metallix, stating that he controls the village now. Violet tries to control Brutus, but is blasted aside. Sonic loosens the ropes with his speed, grabs Tails and Violet and makes a run for it, where outside Violet admits that she doesn't know how to break the spell. Sonic and Tails' future seems uncertain, facing down a massive number of their old enemies at once, but fortunately the Badniks begin to disappear, thanks to the timely intervention of Agiatha. She states that she accidentally trapped herself in the tower while practicing a spell, but the quick battle freed her. Agiatha seems set to give Violet a good lecture, but first zaps Sonic, who 'ought to be ashamed of himself' for being so violent in front of a child. Sonic and Tails quickly leave the village, the hedgehog protesting about not getting the respect he had in the old days.

Trivia[]
- Only the ranting old lady seems to have actually seen Agiatha Witchbrew. A small boy claims to have seen her, but his claim is dismissed, since he also saw a giant purple cat carrying a talking fish. He most likely saw Big and Buddy just after the events of Point of No Return!.
- There is a voodoo doll styled after Fabian Vane on the table in Agiatha's tower.
