The House of the Dead is a strip in Sonic the Comic Online, based on the Sega video game of the same name. The creators are Robert Frazer and Lisa Lee. The first story, "Resurrection Men", was a two-parter that began in the 2008 Halloween Special and concluded in issue #248.
The strip uses the same near-future setting of the third House game (albeit a year earlier, 2018), with the zombies having already destroyed the world. The events of the first game, set in 1998, are established as the strip's back story. In this world, the international security force AMS battle to save the remaining human race from extinction.
Unlike the games, the strip is explicitly set in Britain; the first story has the characters fighting to escape the real-life Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair, London.
