The Time Waster is a monster that is created when someone or something attempts to interfere with the Time Stream. A mass of energy, the Time Waster is invincible to all attacks. It was summoned when 1930, one of the Spirits of the Years Past, attempted to re-enter the time stream, which would have seen history and time fold in on itself. Amy Rose defeated the Time Waster by convincing 1930 that things are better these days, allowing 1999 to enter as scheduled.
