Two Roads Diverged is a complete Sonic the Hedgehog story which appeared in Issue 235 of Sonic the Comic Online.

Story[]
Trapped in a flying capsule above the Emerald Ocean, Sonic tries to work out an escape plan so he can put a stop to the Syndicate's plan to blow Mobius up. Right on cue, Tails arrives in the bi-plane, breaking Sonic out, and they set off for Flickies' Island, where something isn't right. On the Death Carrier, Doctor Zachary explains his plan to Rouge, when Shadow steps in with news. Knuckles has arrived on Flickies' Island looking for the Chaos Emeralds. Just when he should be right on top of them, Shadow appears to confront the echidna. He gives Knuckles a hard time, but is quickly attacked by a blue streak: Sonic has arrived, and immediately begins fighting Shadow again. Suddenly the Death Carrier bursts out of the ground beneath the fighters. Sonic is unable to grab onto the ship and is left on the island as Tails gives chase in the bi-plane, assuming the hedgehog is aboard. Now alone, Sonic realises what he has to do as the Syndicate begin charging the Chaos Siphon, unaware that Knuckles is hanging onto the ship's exterior....

- The story's name comes from the first verse of Robert Frost's poem, The Road Not Taken.
- Knuckles is seen using a Game Boy Advance SP to communicate with the Kintobor Computer.
